What is Career Coaching?

Career Coaching can help you to clarify your career goals and create realistic action steps to ensure you achieve your career goals along with supporting you with the logistical elements of job applications.

There are many reasons a client may reach out for support from a Career Coach including:

  • Feeling stuck in their career

  • Desire to transition to a new industry or career path

  • Support with application materials (resume, cover letter, etc.)

  • Translating your skills

  • Negotiation techniques and determining if the a new role is a good fit

  • And much, much more!

How does a career coaching session work?

In your first complementary session, we'll explore what your career goals are and what the barriers have been in achieving your goals. We can meet over Zoom, chat over the phone, or meet for a cup of coffee. Through our initial conversation, we'll determine whether our partnership is a good fit for both of us.

Our sessions will typically be 45 minutes to 1 hour. In our sessions, we'll identify action steps to complete prior to the next session to ensure you continue to work toward your goals. We'll meet on a cadence that works best for you. Any information shared in our sessions will remain confidential as per the International Coaching Federation. guidelines.

For resume redesigns, cover letter reviews, or LinkedIn optimizations, I'll request your current documents. If additional information is required regarding your experience, we'll schedule a short session to ensure all of your experience is highlighted. Overall, my goal is to work with you in the manner that is most effective to help you reach your goals!
